About the event
Steve Harris has been a stand up comedian for over twenty years and burst on to the comedy scene by winning the coveted North West Comedian of the Year Award on his fifth ever gig. Shortly after, Steve earned his way to the final of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award and So you Think You’re Funny Comedy Award.
Throughout the years Steve has become a regular headliner at some of the most respected comedy clubs in the UK, and has done support slots for Johnny Vegas, Peter Kay and Lee Evans on their UK tours.
Steve’s confident, observational and physical performances have earned him international status as he has performed all over the world including performances for our British Troops in Afghanistan.
Aside from comedy, Steve has deservedly earned TV credits on movies and shows like Funny Cow, Love, Lies and Records and most recently Coronation Street.
Patrick Monahan Award winning Iranian-Irish stand up comedian Patrick Monahan has performed all over the world, including Dubai, Australia, New York, and Norway.
With a family-friendly fanbase, his shows cover topics such as class, family, relationships and his hilarious observations of daily life. He has performed over sixteen solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival over consecutive years, which have then toured to sell-out crowds, both nationally and internationally.
Patrick has recorded four solo comedy specials, released online and on DVD. He has made multiple television appearances on BBC One, BBC Two, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky. He was also the winner of two ITV competition series, Take the Mike and Show Me the Funny.
Tony Vino as MC
Preston’s very own funnyman. Tony Vino has been touring the comedy scene since early 2005. Well aware of social and political issues he mixes friendly well thought out observational humour with audience interaction and quick witted responses. A finalist in 2006 Funny Bones competition, his life and interests are wide ranging and so is the subject matter he weaves together on stage.
“A Great Show the assured Tony Vino copes with a mixed audience really well” Kate Copstic, The Scotsman
"Uplifting style, great delivery and consistently funny throughout” BBC Manchester
