The upstairs floor is a prime place to have a party, either for Christmas or something else special. We also do amazing set party menus which are made with local food with love.

At the Duck, we have two floors: the main downstair restaurant, and a private function room upstairs (which is open for musical entertainment Dec 16th to Dec 22nd.

Private function room
Our unique upstairs is a space is available to privately hire for any event, and would be amazing for Christmas parties. The entire floor is available, with the added bonus of a stage, and 3 TVs including an 80-inch screen. This can be decorated for a super beautiful and unique space. Imagine a wall-sized streaming video of a crackling fireplace and snowflakes glittering against the atmospheric lighting.
It's the perfect space for those smaller more intimate gatherings where a full restaurant or hall is just too large. Holding up to 40 sit down (or standing), this cozy, stylish room is ideal for celebrating those special occasions with your closest friends, colleagues, & family.
This space can be used to serve both the festive set menu, or to hold a buffet. Buffets are negotiable by price and depend on items selection and number of guests.
We can also offer a full custom decor package or arrange entertainment such as comedy, entertainers, or musical artists.
We are open Christmas day for Christmas lunch, with only one sitting (every table is slightly staggered). We ask for a 20% deposit per person at booking, which is non-refundable. Menu choices need to be sent in by no later than 15 December 2022. Check out the menu by clicking HERE.
